Ah yeah, gotcha, B&R is overpowered.

I have 2 of my leagues about to hit the end of season spin in the next week!!!

18 of the 27 custom/standard leagues have at least 10 open teams while only 4 leagues have 4 or less and absolutely none are full.

The next 30 days will be telling for the future of those leagues and MFN as a whole.

I wonder how many of those leagues have active owners. I know B1G vs SEC I kicked about 4 guys because they were new and became inactive for about 3 weeks after about two days they joined the league. I think that will be just as big of a problem too.

Hey Gustoon - would you consider consolidating your 2 leagues into 1? Might be a short term - and yes undesirable solution during what I think we all hope is a short term period of contraction.

Moving on:
I, too, am holding my breath a bit. I have not cashed in my Legacy credits nor have I stopped using my adblocker.
I want to bring attention to an idea someone else brought up previously - badges.
Be freaking awesome if league admins had a badge for 6mo or 12mo paid, as well as each individual league having a notation / badge in the league search as to how many seasons it has been in existence.

To those thinking about the UI. Now's the time. Collect, organize, pitch without conditions.
What happens will happen. That's how "it" becomes what "it" is. Heh.

To all of us, change is hard, but we *can* do it.

I have not been here long but some players have been here so long and been through so much why not deal with this, too? Those players who have are exactly why I am here.

It's not change that bothers me or most others in MFN!

In fact, it's the lack of change that really bothers me!

I've been playing MFN since 2017...played versions 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5 & 4.6.....There use to be a "bleeding beta" version in MFN-1, now defunct where JDB actively tweaked the game and took feedback.

When we switches from 4.5 to 4.6 over 2 years ago....we lost a bunch of owners because the passing game was so tamped down and long passing became dead.

Over a year ago, I PMed JDB and pleaded with him to post something, anything to assure owners changes were on the horizon because I was constantly convincing people to stick it out and give him time.

In January of 2023, JDB posted that he was working on the UI and it was 70-80% complete.

In February of 2024, in this very thread he said the UI was 75% complete and the next change coming.

That's 13 months....0 progress!!!!

The facts is we have approximately 250-300 users and if every single owner chose the MVP package....it still wouldn't be enough money for him to realistically quit his day job and focus solely on MFN.

I had no issues with the slow and steady pace of a 1-man show since it was basically free to all and anyone could spend at will but it from from slow and steady to sporadically slow to 1 year without change!

It's the lack of change that bothers me!

Little old me and my 4 months just cannot be positive enough to go against all the years of everything sucks some of you have come to thrive upon.

It always will, it always has. Not one improvement has a silver lining, not one chnge will ever be acceptable, nor will any current environment every be improvable.

You win! MFN is entirely hopeless, no change will ever be a good change, and it's all about you and not the game.

It's not hard to know when the majority is against you, and clearly this hopeless thread is not a place to discuss being hopeful.

What I'm being told is MFN is hopeless. What I see is selfishness (mostly, with notable exceptions). There's a whole lot of what about me instead of a whole lot of what about this.

I know a good beat down when I get one, and by golly, I have been beaten down!
The only thing killing MFN is the old guard.
Tied and true, I've seen what y'all can do.
It's why I called out TOS when I joined.

Just as how every positive has been buried inthe negative. Just as how every idea of progress has been met with a full f that by far too many persons, so goes MFN.

Be great if all you so called dedicated old timers could see how much more you are doing to destroy this game than anything JDB ever could do.

most of y'all flipping hate everything and anything new in MFN, and will not hesitate to go on and on about what you hated before, what you hate now, and why you will hate anything in the future regarding MFN.

Then again, I've only been here a little over 4 months.
