Re: Rule Changes from 2020 Season

Unless the Titans comply with league rules (all DEs and WLBs producing constant pressure), I will plan to match their play with lightweight or out-of-position players at DE/DT when we face them in the middle of the season.

Apparently you've never heard of the "Nascar Package" in the NFL.
And I don't purposely play LBs on the d line.

If I can't play DE's on the d line I'm in the wrong league, because I will most certainly play DE's on the d line.

To be clear:

You have all WLBs because they are faster. The rules require the starters at least to be at their respective positions.

You are playing one converted DB, who will never gain enough weight, at DE. Despite his slow speed, he produces because lighter players move faster.

You have one DT, a violation of the rules, and he is buried on your depth chart.

You are playing DEs at DT to gain an unfair advantage because they move faster at a lower weight.

You inherited a converted WR, who will never gain enough weight, who dominates with speed at TE.

You had an entire offseason to fix the DT/DE problem and willfully chose to continue breaking the rules instead.

Same goes for LB's...any LB at any LB position.

I'll show myself out.

To be clear:

DEs go to 276lbs. DTs 306(?) from memory. Playing DEs there gives a big advantage.

WLB, unless there's something I've not realised, are around 8lbs lighter, not a massive advantage but still an advantage.

The underweight DE and TE, sorry, totally agree with Infinity on.

EDIT: Oh, he's gone. Unlike others here who've done similar and *listened* to why it's wrong in the league and done their best to learn and adapt, he quits as can't use insta-win anymore.

That's too bad. It isn't difficult to change player positions. The question for the league is whether we want rosters with three defensive positions only: DE, WLB and CB. I don't.

I keep forgetting to switch my starting linebackers to the right position after I have decided who is going where.

I am guilty of this. I always begin the season with two each of WLB, SLB, MLB, but sometimes I move them around as I realize who fits best in different situations.

But I don't just put everyone at WLB so they gain an extra speed/acceleration bump.
