Haha, yeah every time I see my cousins they have something to say about it.
I always remind my sister that those were MY seats before they had them, lol. Been a Dolphins fan before any of them became Jets fans.
I enjoy family functions when jets/giants fans go at it and I stand back and laugh.

Funny how I live in Florida now and Buccaneer fans tell me I need to route for that team because I "live in the area"... They're ****** crazy, I tell ya'!

So like me I am guessing you grew up in the Marino era? I loved those matchups, except for this ...

A lot of Jets fans look forward to the Pats games, but I prefer the Phins, HATE them with a passion ;)

Fins/Jets is the rivalry to me. The younger generation think it's the Pats.
Bob Griese was the QB when I became a Dolphins fan.

Yeah, they just don't get it, bless 'em!
Griese was a great QB too and a good mentor for Marino. I think that for us Sanchez could have been 'the man' if he'd been behind a good old Pro and held the clip board for a year, Jets ruined him I'm afraid.

Griese was retired before Marino came along. It was Don Strock who mentored him..Don wasn't a bad backup in his days.
I feel there is more of a jets/ pats rivalry these days because Rex Ryan did well against Belichick when he was there.

**** really? I would have bet the house on that. Wow my memory is bad ha ha.
Yeah there is that, but Rex seemed to only get 'up' for the Pats games. I dunno it will always be Phins for me. If I see a guy in a Pats jersey I just ignore them, Phins fan...lets chat! More educated and knowledgeable as well . (says the Jets fan who just got Marinos mentor wrong ;) )

Thank you.. ;)
As an aside, Jets should have picked Marino

Depth within the Offensive ranks

Its been an interesting camp for both undrafted Rookie QBs....
Moises Cunningham and Jerry Downs, Whilst young HC Monty Felder has kept an open competition, its very much looking like Downs will get the nod over the much fancied Cunningham at the beginning of pre season.
Downs has been consistent and played well under pressure making intelligent decisions and passes, whilst Cunningham's approach is a more cautious and guarded role, no doubts whoever gets the start, the back up QB will also have a role to play.

At RB there has been a nice surprise as Curtis Martins back up Seth Blevins has been a revelation. The former QB out of Kentucky has taken to his new role with ease and has looked better and better in each pre season game.
George Mackey has also looked good and will cause opposing D coaches nightmares with mismatches, Mackey has excellent hands and has a nose for the goal line.

The Receiving crop looks excellent with home run threats at all levels, with Al Toon Wesley Walker and David Olivares playing well very early on.
At TE the Jets have struggled and recently acquired undrafted FA Les Bingham to help out with this role as Bob patti has seemed to struggle at times. OC David Kelly is well renowned for his love of using TEs, so do not be surprised to see these guys explode onto the scene at some point.

The O line has looked solid and its hard to separate the starters from back-ups which is a nice problem to have.

Next up the sack exchange !

Had they picked Marino, I'd have been a Jets fan. He was the reason I became a Dolphins fan as a kid...

...And I really appreciate him for setting me up for a lifetime of grief. Thanks a lot, Dan.

Tell you what IF the Jets had drafted Marino he would never had the career he did, our O line was as porous as it can get. Ken O'Brien took multiple hits over and over, if he'd gone to the Phins... who knows , he might have had a hall of fame career
