Despite the 49ers being favored by 3 points, Lion's owner MasterMe guaranteed a win against them, and he would go on to show he was right with the Lions taking a 27-24 win over the 9ers.

Head Coach Justin Tyner said this on his first career head coach win.
"We did good things today and things that we could have done better. We plan on working on those things while honing what we did well, but right now 100% of the focus is on taking on Atlanta next game."

Week 2 has proven multiple things.

1: The Lions aren't competitive.
This was something we all knew. Let's be honest. The win against the 49ers says more about them than us.

2: The Defense is shot.
This unit is clearly a downgrade from the formidable unit last year.

3: The Offense looks above average.
The offense is an upgrade from last year, in almost every aspect.

4: The Defense still gets turnovers.
The D leads the league on the turnover margin with 4

5: Tony isn't "Terrific"
in 2 weeks, Mendonca has thrown 0 TDs. that's bad.

6: The Team's leadership is questionable.
The team's leadership is being questioned seeing as how it's reported that HC Justin Tyner turned in the WRONG gameplan.

Week 4 and the Lions are still strong in the division and playoff race, now 2-2 after an upset win over the Seahawks, winning 13-7 in a defensive struggle, the Seahawks were favored -4, which has sent a trend of the Lions not being favored to win a single game. The Lions are going up against the 1-3 Cardinals, who are favored to beat the Lions by 7 points

Tony "Terrific" shows off his skill, as he demolished the Browns as he threw for 253 yards, completing 17/24 passes with 2 touchdowns for a QB rating of 148.61. He also won a spot on the Player Of The Week slot as the only QB and 1 of 2 Lions players, as David Lewis also got a spot! David Lewis got 6 tackles, 1 INT, and allowed a completion rating of 50% on 10 targets.

Lions are roaring now!

Wow! Stat Attack!
Tony Mendonca's 148.61 QBR is the second-best QBR a QB has gotten in a single game (2024), beating out everyone except LAC's Marvin Arrington.

Oscar Vega pops off against the Packers with an 8 sack game, which leads the league (2024) with single-game sacks! in other news, Tony Mendonca had a very bad game, finishing with a QBR under 50.0, but neither QB had a QBR of 60.0+, but the front office hopes he can look past this and recover and focus on the game against the Bears, which is the only game so far in which the Lions have been favored, The Lions are favored by -2.

The Lion's future was looking playoff-bound, but an upset loss to the Bears could change all that, Will the 2024 Lions be remembered as Detroit's first playoff team in years or just a team that was almost there? Will Tony Mendonca be the first QB to lead the Lions to the playoffs since Daniel Cole in 2014, or will he be known as another bridge QB of Detroit?

This just in, Tony Mendonca has lost the starting jobs to Smith, Smith will be starting Week 14-15 and Dillon will start his first career game week 16

The Lions upset the Steelers, who were favored -11, by +6! Smith did something Detroit hasn't seen in weeks! As QB he did NOT throw a single INT!
