Tampa Bay Buccaneers sends:
Lazaro Axelson (LG)
2008 Round 2 Selection 5
2008 Round 3 Selection 25

Chicago Bears sends:
Laverne Johnson (RDE)
Daniel Haynes (CB)

Thanks for the explanations. For anyone that has been in the league for an extended period of time, the trade meter means absolutely nothing. They use their own weights and the trade meter is based off of default weights. I don't know anyone other than new owners or owners that don't pay attention that uses default weights, so if that is the justification for why an established owner makes a trade, it is a weak concept. I have rebuilt more teams in MFN, maybe more than anyone. If this is a trade to rebuild then it doesn't fly. If it is a trade due to salary cap issues it doesn't fly. It isn't because hpkman is involved, regardless of his thoughts, I have already given my opinion of him. If Chicago would have posted those players were up for trade in the forum, he could get much more, probably 5-6 players or draft picks. This is a bad deal.

My point was it wasn’t because of you, like you were framing it. No one had an issue with you trading. It was an issue of the trade itself.

Got it... sorry if my message sounded like it was me.... i was just saying to Crimson that lately there is bit of trade discussion going on in our league and maybe it was wrong time for us to make that trade....

I know you well and honestly did not took it personally..... You are one of really good GM and love playing withyou and against you.... so no worries on that front and apologies if there is any miscommunication.

Only thing i want to see it though is lets see who offers better trade for those players....now that its in open that they are in market plus what Bucs is offering for them.

We are good. Both of the teams involved have good owners, both of you are competitive but one of the things that has happened with the new version is what worked in the past doesn't work now and that needs to be looked at. I also think the cycle of draft depth has to be considered, which is at a very low point in MFN right now. If the players were 27+ I would say ok I can see a rebuild(by the MFN retirement standards), but not at 24. Those players still have at least 6 seasons left. I wish you both luck unless you are playing me.
