Ok. Now I have to ask what is Chicago doing? A boomer CB and DE for that?

This is a horrible trade and should be reviewed.

For a OL that can’t run or block. Crimson had been around. Just curious on this thoughts.

Even if there is a rebuild involved there is no way, an owner trades away 2 young players at DE and CB without getting a boatload in return.

I have offered him same trade by adding 2nd round 2009 ...... Now its early 2nd round, mid 3rd, mid 2nd round -2009 and still OL

Value is more than 1300 for 900

Value with out OL is more than value getting back... so hope all is well...

I value passblock and speed the most on LTs so Axelson was a solid backup LT for me because of his passblock, but I mostly made the trade for the picks. Both Johnson and Haynes are backups for me. I was trying to trade Perry or Loh on my team to multiple teams but they were declined because they were deemed too old. Hkpman asked if I was willing to trade Johnson and one of my two TEs I said yes and after a couple hours going back and forth we agreed on the two trades made a couple days ago. Now I have two players livid at me and a busted 2008 draft plan.

Crimson I know why the trade was made.... I am not sure people have looked at each players in detail and also draft picks potential...

L Alexander, LT - Strength 82 Intellegence - 96 Discipline - 90 Pass Block 82/91 - 3 yr exp so young player... have not busted.... and signed for 175k range for 3 years... He has not played much to decide how he will do but on the limited bases he has been good. I know he is OL and you can debate that for the position but that was need for him... i did not dumped salary and gave him cheap but capable backup/spot starter.

2nd round 5th pick - this draft was not top heavy but have many player good in top 40 if not 50 ... this trade gives 37th pick to Bears... giving them clear line to add value of 680-800 range... but look at the draft now there are many 1000 plus still there ofcourse with some risk....

3rd round would give them good decent back up or even a starter at OL

Now we understand you may say Bucs got two good player in return

This was more of what both wanted and discussed for couple of hours to come to right fitment for both team....

Now Crimson is stuck with two player who will not sign with him and are livid

Crimson i personally think you got caught at the wrong time ..... in the line of fire regarding the trade in the league..... so i don't want you to be at the loss due to Bucs...

I am adding 2009 - 2nd round pick and offering you same trade ... which is more than fair and its tilted to your side which i am hoping no one will object.

Please i request you to accept the new trade.... and don't feel guilty as i am willing to give this pick to close any fairness question around it and still make the trade

I hope this will not make you take the livid player on your roster and don't do the trade as that is big loss for your team and not fair to Bears at all....
