After the first 7 games of the season, the Jets were sittin at 2-5. They are a great example of hangin in there, making roster improvements, adapting and/or changing up the gameplan, and gettin into the playoffs after going 9-1 the rest of the reg season. And they are now in the CC game with a shot at the LC. Outstanding Gus, well done!
And not to be outdone, raidergreg's Raiders were 1-4 after the first 5 games, and went 9-2 the rest. The Raiders were expected to contend for the CC & LC, the Jets were'nt, and now they face each other. Best of luck to both, its been a great season. cheers
Thanks. At season's beginning I expected to be here vs Cleveland, again. At 1-4, even the #6 seed seemed like a pipe dream. Then the 9-2 record down the stretch put the Raiders in their rightful place atop the AFC West.
The Jets are on quite a roll of their own. They might not be putting up the ridiculous amount of points that the Raiders have the last 5 games but it's hard to quibble about 6 wins in a row. Good luck Gus.
If the Raiders win, I will be facing a team I already lost to this season. The last 2 losses for Oakland were Week 9 @ Carolina 30-13 and Week 13 vs Atlanta 30-24.
