His speed is a major liability. He won't be able to cover half the TEs or virtually all of the RBs he's matched up against. The low B&R means he can't even jam a TE in place. And if he's matched on a WR? Game over. And good luck trusting him to chase down a ballcarrier.
Probably why his stats show he allowed 61.1% completions when targeted last year. Presumably, he left some guys so wide open, they caught passes without counting him as being "thrown at."
His one redeeming value is having high pass catch, but he's so out of position he never has had an INT.
Here, you see my 84 speed RB beat Bardin to the edge for the TD:

https://nfl.myfootballnow.com/watch/13489#2370475Most of the TDs you give up are because you run all-out blitzes that leave your CB2 one-on-one with the other team's WR2 and no safety help. (That, and the Jags spam the flare to exploit the speed matchups.) This means Bardin is blitzing frequently, but he's so slow he didn't even record a sack last year.
I don't know what his value is exactly. There are situations where he could be valuable. But he certainly isn't worth moving up from the bottom of the second to the top of the first.
Again: You know this. You wouldn't take this trade.
Prove me wrong ... I'll sign this arguably better player that you let become a FA, and you can trade me a high draft pick for him:
