End of the Season Review ...... (I am not the commish...... but just love this league too much so I took liberty to put my view - review of the season.... its not to hurt anyones feeling ..... but of course any smack talk is welcome and needed)
AFC West
Raiders - As its been the case every year they ruled this division but this year they also ruled AFC conference.....they are the team to beat in AFC, their rise is lead by balanced potent offense and defense. Their Offense has put 500 plus points and their long time GM has build this team via draft and free agency (total opposite to Bucs who make 200 trade a season to just make playoff).
Broncos - They are lead by same GM and always flashing potential to dethrone Raider in AFC West. They had decent season but I feel they were held back due to their head coach..... this team has better Co-ordinator who can take over as the head coach and make team much better next season but as usual this team has potential and they had decent year. They are just couple of players and coach aways from being wild card and also threat to Raiders.
Chargers - They made bold trade to bring young QB (local hero) to build the team around...so its work in progress and you can see it as their overall record improved and their games were interesting but they are not finished product as team and need 1-2 season to make some noise but wild card may not one out of question in near future.
Chiefs - This team is in massive rebuild under new GM but they are taking patience approach as they start to put pieces to build around. They own top 3 pick in the draft and most likely will have chance to add few younger players to make them exiting .... their season was tough but they did improve as they lost many close game.... once they get the right roster they will be ready to make some noise.
AFC EAST
Jets - When the year started it was rumored that it will be tough year for Jets as they were looking to upgrade at QB .... prediction was 100% correct it was tough year for J E T S but it was not due to QB but it was due to poor Defensive play and rise of Pats ...... matter of fact it took last game W for Jets to win Division...... I am sure though its just small adjustment as given their track record JETS will be ready too make some noise as usual but this is the team to keep eye as they reload without rebuild.
Patriots - This is the surprise team from AFC West under new GM.... they tweaked little in offseason and boy they came out to play..... they actually made every notice and almost dethrone JETS from being division winner..... I know their last game loss not only costed them division but also chance to make playoff but this is team ready to roar in near future.
Bills - This team is in rebuild phase but with definite plan as you can see how they have grown every year and they are actually on verge to break open for playoff push next year.... I love their solid drafts for last 2-3 season which will be foundation for their rebuild. One more good draft with some tweak and they will announce their arrival in next 1-2 season.
Dolphins - This team was loaded with veteran and always in hunt with proven GM but something went wrong last season and continued into this season ... costing long time and class GM his job... this team is now under new GM with hope of rebuild.... so it will tough but interesting next couple of year in South Florida.
AFC - North
Browns - They have been the power house like Raider for years in AFC..... except Falcon game where whole team decided to take week off they have been dominating force in AFC and competition to Raiders for the top spot. They have equally potent offense but their Defense
is some what questionable but it was one heck of season
Bengals - New GM has totally made them great team ... even post losing many star in Free Agency, he has build the roster which keeps producing... he has turned them into regular wild card team... and threat to Browns dominance in AFC North.... so watch out for them next season.
Ravens - This team is managed by very capable owner who is rebuild this team without losing a bit .... they has good season and made playoff as the wild card in very competitive division.....
Steelers - This team is owned by one of the class act GM.....they were in the restock mode but no one expect them to be 4-10 so it was some of let down year for them... specially as their young QB did not got right support and had down year... they need to restock and tweak some things to be back in the playoff hunt.
AFC South
Colts - They had very strange season ... they started with bang leading to 8-4 record and ended the season with 4 straight loss to inches in the playoff with 8-8 record.... they have struggled at QB but team rallied around to keep their Playoff streak alive..... but they need to restock quickly as Jax is surprisingly almost sneaked it way to playoff.
Jaguars - This team has found the leader .... they rookie QB lead them almost in the playoff..... they showed the growth and maturity at the end of the season and will be the team to watch next season.
Texans - 2018 they were Super bowl finalist but some reason ownership decided to dismantle the team and coaching staff...... and it was debacle... leading to them hiring new GM midseason.... and this team saw instant turn around... new GM has tough task in coming offseason but this is the team heading back to right direction.
Titans - they have all the ingredients and patience owner who is build the team via draft and right way ... it may take some time but they will rise back to prominence in about 2-3 season with steady improve every season..... they will have key offseason coming for this team.
