Great game, Giants. Shut me down on offense and made a nice comeback with 17 unanswered points.
To the point about things changing with the sim, I can't say I noticed anything specific, other than my QBs continued bad decisions to throw to the back when other guys are wide open. I chalk it up to good gameplanning by my opponents and bad luck on the playcalling decisions.
Again, I don't think the sim changed, but my team did regress and it was frustrating. I didn't experiment with many new plays but as the season went along my coach kept calling the same ones more often. My gameplan and rules were the same, I use 25-30 different plays, but maybe I was just getting stuck in a pattern that led to overuse of some dumb plays I should have cut out of the playbook?
My star WR (Corcoran);
Regular season: 68 targets, 48 catches, 1,296 yards, 16 TD
Post Season (2 games): 4 targets, 1 catch, 11 yards, 0 TD
It seems like my QB was making poor decisions over the last four games or so, throwing it to the flat when there wasn't any pressure and not taking any chances on the deep throw. Throwing shorter passes for higher completions but fewer yards and more INTs.
QB Duffy:
Regular Season: 62% completion, 8 ypa, 30 TD, 11 INT
Post Season: 68% completion, 6 ypa, 2 TD, 2 INT
