Re: 2014 Season

Having lost two games in my division, I'd like to think that anyone can win the NFC North next year. I have two tough games left against other playoff teams so 11 wins might be all I can muster this year. We could have all four teams at .500 or better at the end of this year. That's a tight race and means those division games are only going to get tougher. Lions and Vikings and Bears, oh my!

Admiral..... it was good game at one point we thought we had it but our defense took it easy and you had your team ready to play all 60 min.... Great win.... and this one will put us on planning again..... wrong time for us to loose a game but you are deserve it .

GG Texans, I guess thos KO returns took the wind out of your sails as up to that point it was quite close.

Interesting end to this season, so many teams were still in it, Just Chicago looking for to get into the POs now.
AFC is all sorted

So Detroit do what Detroit always do - Win games they have no right too

Will they continue to do Detroit things and lose in Week 16, when expected to win.....

GG Buccs, nice of your boys to mail in the fourth quarter ;o) 7-21 down to 27-21 win - Lions are roaring - even if this was against some of your backups, it's a great win for us.

Just had week 16 in first year of (roster only) Franchise Football. Twelve games had something on the line. Only one team entered the week locked in and just four had guaranteed a playoff spot. It was a mental week with a legal Punt block, missed PAT's, missed FG's, game winning TD called back, Overtime games, shocks, fumbles, interceptions. Virtually every game went to the wire. Craziest end to a regular season ever.

The Falcons finish an abysmal season at 2-14 after losing to the Rams 12 to 6.

Only managed to score 10 offensive touchdowns all season (6 passing and 4 rushing) to go with 1 return TD and 1 defensive TD, 12 total touchdowns for the season. Less that 9 points per game scored while the defense wasn't that bad and only gave up 16 per game.

Easily my worst season as an owner, I usually manage to keep my teams competitive but this season was a disaster.

'This team, just this team'

An emotional Anthony Valdez (Lions Head Coach) spoke to reporters after the game.

Reporter: 'Anthony, your sixth year with the Lions. You've seen owners come and go and stayed loyal. This is the teams 4th playoff appearance in your time here. How does this team compare'

Valdez: 'This team, just this team' *shakes head, wipes away a tear* 'What we have done this season is loco. We ripped the heart and soul out of the franchise after starting 1-3. The previous owners gave up and quit. We pulled guys off the street, moved people around and worked our tails off.' Valdez pauses, looks around a still raucous Ford Field and raises his arm to acknowledge the fans. 'This team, Man, Just this damned team. We have been dead and buried in so many games this year, written off by everybody. They never quit, this team, just, this damned team, they wouldn't quit, they couldn't quit' *He looks back at the home crowd and roars 'Never give up'

and in an instant, he was gone. Mobbed by his players, carried off shoulder high.

'This team, just this team'

Great game Vikings, the Bears can have no complaints you threw everything at us. But three weeks in a row we've come back from double digit fourth quarter deficits to win #CardiacKids #NeverGiveUp #ThisTeam

And, no resting up for these boys. We go back to Lambeau this week, we trailed 21-3 there early in the season, rallied to lead 27-24 and ended up tying the game - that proved to be the difference in deciding the division.
