Re: Allocation Draft Discussion

When I first started in MFN I made the HUGE mistake of trading away all my lower round picks for a higher round pick. Those late round picks can grow into real beasts, you'll not find me doing that again.

Most of my trades are to move around so that I will actually be available to make my pick and not rely on the Ai.

There are also times of course when I want to move up to grab someone, or move down to pick up additional picks.

That's understandable. What I meant was that the allocation draft shouldn't be treated like a normal draft where all the lower picks are just garbage.

If people want to move up and give me more picks to do so, it is fiinnne by me.

I don't mind so much, just curious. I'm a linear thinker so, just trying to figure out the logic. I get War Eagles reason, makes sense, others too.

I personally have never understood trading picks in allocation drafts, unless its to work around a schedule. The payoff is almost never close to what you pay.

I had a plan to try and gain as many day 2 picks I could so I that I'd be able to have a pretty strong defense while still getting some offensive studs. Looking at it now though I should've waited to do this on day 3 so that I could've traded all my day 4 and 5 picks to build a much stronger team overall
