Pick 2.32RDE Sammi Curr As mentioned previously, Curr is the villain in the heavy metal themed Trick or Treat movie.

Pick 7.32RB Eddie Weinbauer Mr. Irrelevant might stick around on our 53, we'll see how the preseason goes. Weinbauer is the hero of Trick or Treat, though his backwards cassette tape started the chaos in the first place. He was played by Marc Price, better known to guys my age as Skippy from Family Ties.

Johnny Utah was the name of Keanu Reeve's character in the movie Point Break.

Eric Cartman and Kyle Broflovski are from South Park.

Buzz Sawyer and Jimmy Superfly Snuka were pro wrestlers back in the day.

Terry Tate went back to being office linebacker after we cut him.

Hey hey hey, it's Fat Albert Robertson, you know, the old cartoon that Bill Cosby hosted.

Here we are drafting for our 2008 season, when some prominent baseball players don't have jobs with spring training right around the corner. I decided to help them out and offer some of them football jobs to supplement their income.

I'm also going to skip the pics/links as you'll know who most of them are if you know anything about baseball.

Bryce Harper wants to play QB, but that's too bad because he will be a TE. He only agreed to sign if he was my 1st round pick.

Manny Machado likes to fight and stir stuff up on the diamond, so I'm hoping he's just as aggressive playing LB.

Craig Kimbrel is a closer in baseball but he will need to get open if he's going to make it as a WR.

Mike Moustakas (pronounced Moose Tacos haha) won't sign a baseball contract until Machado does so he followed him to MFN where he hopes to make the team as a DE.

Dallas Keuchel used to be a good starting pitcher but he had a down year last season, so he's giving football a try.

Bartolo Colon...the Round Mound of the Mound is a fitting name to use for an OL. I usually call him Fatolo Colon, I mean look at him...



Gio Gonzalez rounds out my baseball draft. Even if these guys eventually sign baseball contracts, they will still be able to play MFN if they make the Raiders since this is a virtual world and won't interfere with their main job.

This year's rookie Raiders will be named for famous stoners since yesterday was 4/20. I'm sure most everyone knows Snoop Dogg, Cheech and Chong, Dave Chappelle and Willie Nelson are big stoners. Seth Rogen starred and wrote Pineapple Express, which is a movie about marijuana if you didn't know while Doug Benson has his own podcast called "Getting Doug With High".

I'll try and remember write ups later, as I am short on time today but this draft's theme is summer. My draft pick names have all written a song with summer in the title. Dave Meniketti is the main guy in Y&T, whose video "Summertime Girls" was one of my MTV favs back in the day. Everyone knows Bryan Adams and that annoying "Summer of '69" song, along with Don Henley's "Boys of Summer".

Eddie Cochran wrote "Summertime Blues", John Sebastian was in Lovin' Spoonful and wrote "Summer in the City", and Glenn Danzig wrote "Dirty Black Summer".
