Already got coach poached during EOS sim, including the HC !! jeez! They got taken right out of the showers!! ... following the locker room celebration. No time to relax, smh. Who got them? lol

"Great win fellas, but... I have some news"

Since when do head coaches get poached? Doesn’t it have to be a promotion to sign them away from another team? Or as long as it’s a lateral position they can be had with $$$?

Congrats on the undefeated season azyoda! Good luck in the playoffs to all the playoff teams.

IOT asked to switch from the Vikings to get TB, seth knew that would give his friendly rival a huge advantage and said no. There should have been a plan to avoid the competitive gap now in play by TBay. Just my take and opinion.

Just your take and opinion, which is incorrect.

FYI, I know a fair bit more about things than you given I was speaking to Infy and Seth everyday.

Patriots opened up before TB. Infy was looking for a new challenge, was interested in them but deferred as I wanted to take them over as a challenge. I'd taken Detroit as far as I could, Patriots an interesting team in having to rebuild.

Infy decided to leave - hopefully temporarily - for other reasons. Seth has life constraints atm, is on extended break. Both are welcome back at any time. At no time was Infy blocked from switching to TB.

Also FYI, due to hpk's approach as you're well aware, TB were left in a ridiculous state - too many early round picks, meaning TB would be facing cap issues. Seth's view which nobody with an IQ in double figures would disagree with was that it needed an experienced owner to be able to deal with the **** left behind - which thankfully we've got. I get the loving the whole trading thing, but there are roster only leagues if that floats your boat.

Be interested to hear how you think hkp should have been prevented leaving a situation where a team has an advantage but also looming salary cap issues? There are potential things JDB could implement. Increased powers for league admins, but every admin wants to run a league with a light touch rather than having to patrol everything.

You can't poach head coaches, never have been able to.

EDIT: Confirmed in discussions with JDB on another related topic.

To add to that, Seth offered me TB or IOT’s team(don’t remember which that was), in the event I didn’t want to take Tampa, and then IOT would take Tampa. So didn’t appear to me that Seth was trying to prevent IOT from taking Tampa at all.

Not a HC you didn't.

You can't offer a deal to another teams HC.

GG Potter's Packers, not a bad first outing for the new Bears, with a few gameplan and play selection tweaks and a player upgrade or two, and they should be in the hunt by the end of the season and might make the POs. I like having the challenge of improving a team instead of a trying for a repeat chanpionship. That was a bad turn at the end of the 1st half, instead of potentially taking the lead, we had the fumble followed by your quick drive for the TD. We will def not be the same for the rematch, at least I hope not, ha :)
