GG Lions/Boba! Was worried about this one, historically we typically have played tight games and I was out of the country this past weekend and didn’t get a good opportunity to gameplan as I would have wanted. Statistically was fairly close. Congrats on a strong season!
thanks all, didnt think the Jags would get past the div finals, but they did, caught some good sims, and they were running, ha. poor joke attempt. The final vs azy and the undefeated HKP's Revenge Bucs was def not expected, but will take it. They are going to be a real handfull next season.
Thanks VF, the PO run was a real gauntlet starting with the Wild Card game against Doc H's Broncos, all FGs in a defensive battle, 9-3. Jags kicker, Lyles, also kicked the winner in the Div game vs Ioans Ravens, a 46 yarder with 8 seconds to go for the 16-13 win. FGs were also the difference in our CC game, going 3 for 3 ( 48, 40, & 51 yds). Jags had a 4-0 TO advantage in that game, that is the random part of the sim, the Gump "box of chocolates". Defense and kicking were the big part of the run. An interesting stat total from all 4 games combined , the Jag offense had 4 TDs and 10 FGs, and Lyons 96 yd punt return in the final, the longest that Ive had or seen since playing MFN for over 8 years with multiple teams every season, what were the odds? Had a triple OT game in the ENFL, Div PO game, another first for me in all that time and a 1000+games, lost that one on a TO/FG, or we might of had a 4 OT game! Another first, as far as I can remember, happened in the last couple of days, I traded a kicker plus a 3rd round pick for another kicker, in the RO International League. Quite a week with all the PO games and firsts. Got another PO game tonight that I may or may not have "over gameplanned", adding a couple of wrinkles that might work or might backfire, will see what chocolates are in the box, hopefully favorites :) (I can name my 3 favs from Sees)
GrandadB! **** of a performance from your squad. I was concerned when the offense was struggling, and pretty much knew our goose was cooked with the lonnnnnnng punt return TD. Congrats sir, fantastic playoff run. Super happy for ya!
