Not sure if that message was meant for me, but I removed the CB from the lineup and checked the overrides. He's not even in the punt return formation anymore.
It wasn't for any one person in particular. I have a LOT of time on my hands, lol sad as I am I've been looking at punts. There are a few OoP players that get close, but its only pressure.
I have a OoP in another league but hes yet to make a block but does make the punter s**t his pants every now and again forcing a bad punt. I think once your player hits 85-90 speed/acceleration and hes out of position, you're going to be in trouble. The AI has been guilty in the past of subbing players in, so I think people just need to pay a little bit more attention to STs, if needed. Fortunately this league has been pretty much 'punt block' free.

I went and looked after the above post. Looks like I had a few DBs on the line. Not that they ever blocked a kick but go figure.
I wouldn't play with fire. I'll read the rule as steer the front four clear of anything but LBs (230 lbs. or higher) and the wings you can bring pressure to force the bad punts.
But, yeah, I wouldn't toy with using lighter players on the front four at 75+ speed thinking it may not block. Also, keep in mind if someone is using a non-punter then all bets are off if a wing catches/blocks 'em. The onus flips on the blocked owner for the non-punter.
The fix is to score on every possession. That way you'll never punt, win 99% of the time and pick up an extra skill position if you want. Easy Peasy
Or go for it every 4th down ..... lemon squeezy
Please go for it every 4th down. Please.
Ha ha I've seen someone do that when punt block first happened, it wasn't pretty lol

Not gonna lie...I did this in a playoff game in Die Hard (well, the rule was set to go for it as long as it was 4th and 8 or shorter since that was the average production per play for my offense that season and then there were exceptions for not going if the punt was out of my end zone or I was in field goal range). Wound up 6-for-8 on conversions, had opponent's defense getting overuse penalties in the 3rd qtr (he only ran 2 def plays the whole season) and won by 14.
