I totally agree with you.... it was one of those stupid bad day.... plus i was trying to make the point that people should be allowed to trade freely.... hence even put the note just wanted explanation so everyone can see that every trade has reason to be valid and we should not restrict people from trading.... but i also know it got out of hand and thing turned in wrong way.

This will be the final thing I say on this matter. I told Gustoon in my message that I would keep my eye on the league when I decided to leave.

First off the trade. There was absolutely NOTHING uneven about it. I traded for Workup in the off season with the idea of trading Boudreau. I looked at how smirt had used Boudreau and didn't know if it would work for me, so I put him on the trade block to entertain offers. I got one and took it. During this fiasco questioning I found that Boudreau was injured. I would have not made the trade if I had known that. That is my fault and I accept responsibility.

Gustoon I respect you as an owner and LA. I realize it is not an easy task to run a league and can actually take the fun out of it. I would like to point out that the comparison between time management and trade value is silly. There is nothing similar in the two.

Those of you that have been in leagues with me, know I normally take over losing teams and flip them. I may not be the leader in the amount of losing teams taken over, but certainly am near the top. I have a good idea of how to do the rebuilds, due to different experiences. Now there will be a few owners that don't like this, but I have said for the 2 years that the issue with trades lies with MFN, not individually leagues. This is my opinion and I am not going to debate it. There should be a limit of 20 trades per team, per season. I have never made more than that in building a team. No team should be allowed to trade with any team in the league more than twice. The disagreement has always been in discussions "well the NFL doesn't limit trades". True, but the NFL doesn't limit the amount of players I can trade either, so that point doesn't hold water. Once again this is a statement, not a debate discussion.

Finally. hkpman You are a good on owner. You operate within the MFN rules. I have said in many forums that if I were going to start a league, I would ask you first, due to the activity you bring. With that being said you are also a bad thing for the established leagues. You either trade alot with an insecurity of your players, due to bad trades or because you have an addiction to it, I am not sure which and it really doesn't matter. Trades are always subjective and there are varying opinions. I have been in many leagues with you and probably watched you make 1000 trades and never said a word, to call out as you defined "a borderline" trade that I made is ridiculous. You did it, because I didn't think a trade you made was fair and stated it. For you to turn this into anything else is bs.

Grey - I agree with you on the your overall trade and how it should be handled in MFN. I have answered that i only asked for explanation and not asked it to be reversed but i also understood the way i wrote did not worked for all and i tried to explain and also apologized. You know it as i send you personal note to explain till i could not anymore.

I do make many moves ... may be more than real league should.....it all depends on the league... this was my very first league ...and honestly even today i am at best average at game planning so i had to build a monster roster just to make playoff. I had 9-7 or 10-6 season but due to being in NFC south did not even got into wild card conversation so only way was to go out and build the team best i could ... last season when i went 15-1 was my first and only playoff entry in the league. I am part of Parody league where its total opposite.... I am making similar trades like all and only had 4 total picks in last draft.... sharing only to say that it depends on the league i am part of but i admit i do make trades as i believe in mix style of Pats way of moving players in/out of system... Bucs - Dungy way of holding on to the core and Jerry Jones was of being bold in making move.... may not be right thing but i am trying to follow the blend of it for myself.

Anyway I have said it before i will now too... you are one of the great owner who i respect... i did not asked the trade to be Reversed at anytime just mere asked for the explanation as i felt borderline given his age... injury but same i had no issue with the trade.

I did debated and feared that one will think i did as my trade was Reversed, hence i did said I only want explanation and DO NOT Want this trade to be reversed.

Anyway we all have chimed and cleared all doubts and would publicly request you to come back and take the team in the league as we need Grey in the league to keep this league fun ....competitive and fair...... so hope you would reconsider

Hope this gives you clarity on tis whole stupid thing started by me ...... but honestly there was no intention to reversed the trade ..... my intention was to tell people that every trade with different value in mind so we should allow it and not restrict but learned my lesion that will never use comparing example in the life....

Well hope you read this in right spirit and decide to come back to this league.... i am not admin but Gustoon as one of the best commish in the MFN deserve you one of the best owner back in this league so if not for Bucs owner...... consider it for Gustoon and other good owners in the league.

Just one clarity ... as CjFred said i have to make trades for next 3 season atleast to manage my cap and team... but my goal is to reduce as much as possible post that..... so being open about it.

Instead of making up for your game planning weakness by making a lot of trades, have you ever thought about focusing on improving your game planning? I am sure there are a ton of owners that would be happy to give you tips.

He was? I know he just left shortly after PM'ing me to see what I was going to do. He wanted sanctions similar to what is now being proposed.

I'm toying with doing another league with rules in place before pick 1 in the allocation draft takes place. But I need to have a think about that. At the moment it seems to me more people are leaving MFN than joining.

I love MFN, let me get that out there at the front but the reason it seems we are losing owners rather then gaining owners may have a lot to do with the release of 4.4 which was basically broken quickly followed by 4.5.

We have a bleeding edge beta league for a reason. 4.4 should never have been released because the issues should have shown in MFN-1 first.

With 2 successive releases, each of the last 3 seasons for most leagues have been under different versions. It has created a level of frustration among owners because every season the player weights change, positions of importance change and gameplaning change.

Personally, Im trying to adapt and change as best as I can from version to version but from the forums in leagues Im an owner and my own forums in the league I admin, owners are frustrated.

Basically every league is a beta league now
