My problem is the volume of not any individual trade.
You have 31 draft picks for next years draft. 31. 12 in the second round.
We know full well you'll trade those picks; you ain't got the cap or roster space to take on 31 players, especially with the number of early picks you stock up on.
By your own admission, you're in it to GM not coach. That's fine, stock up on assets without really using them to advance or progress your team, that's your call. What is does however is unbalance the game for everyone.
You and I want to trade for a player from another team? You can blow me out of the water easily be overpaying. With the picks you have, that statement is valid for I'd say virtually all teams.
So, we know you've got to get rid of those picks you've amassed. As your trades are overwhelmingly with teams at the lower end of the rankings, no doubt we'll see more talent at those clubs be picked up by you for those picks then flipped for more picks.
I'll be honest, i don't see how that benefits the league or game. Can't speak for others, but I've no interest in any further trades with you unless it's from desperation; Staley i was happy to get due to my TE situation.
The cycle needs to be broken.
edit; and that's my final word as have a draft to prepare for.
