Oooooo theres very slim pickings here..
1 X 100 rated player
8 X 90s rated players
8 X 80s rated players

and then there is a steep drop off, should keep the league competitive though

The drop will get more steep once relative attributes roll out.

Yes, once the season rolls over.

Those picking from midway in the first round will have picks akin to mid 2nd rounders and so on .... ****!

True. However, I believe there will be more later round players that have the potential to boom into good players more often and quicker. So there is that.
