I agree... i was some how not able to get good read on this draft so i also decided to trade out most of them aggressively ..... while those trade added good players for Bucs.... i see keeping picks would have given me similar talent with each of those pick.... even little better as they will be all rookie and developing. but over all wash so Happy with my trades... plus its my fav part of game to be honest.
Coming to actual rookies
G.Andrews, OL -> He did fine in the training camp, he will be rock on the OL for long time
S.Torres, OC -> He did had good camp growing on expectation and will pair with G.Andrews to form the next Gen OL for Bucs
B.Hill, DE -> He had average camp... he did not busted but settled a bit with some good sign. He will be back up DL but did not repaid our effort of two trades to land him.... but still will be Bucs and will have to work hard to be part of the team.
W.Pittman,DE -> He was surprise Bloom of the draft...he was picked with zero expectation but have now carved out a good role with Bucs
M.Alvarado, OL - He was picked for depth and special team... had average camp nothing spectacular.... but did not disappointed
R.Clarke, RB -> reminded Bucs that every RB from Georgia is not T.Davis.... they can be K.Mereno too..... he came with bit of the fanfare and media frenzy... while coaches tried to him level headed... he thought of himself as the next star... and bombed ..... he will stick with team but only as backup and special team...... he is not bad for 6th round just did not panned on lofty expectation set on him.
D.Jones, LG - He did not panned out but had average camp so will a decent backup and special team player...
we picked up two young player so will consider them rookie.
J.Dillman,TE - he was picked for his special team value.... he did not disappointed at all.. he can be #2 LS and if continue to grow can be #3TE and starting LS
T.Edwards, PK - he is 2nd year but been watching from when he was rookie...we signed him and he did rewarded us with positive growth just on the news that he will be Bucs... shows that he really belong to NFL and he will most likely make the team even at the cost of carrying 2nd kicker.... thanks to our veteran who decided to give up big money and resign with Bucs after hitting Free Agency.
Overall it was decent draft lots of player on trenches (i do that when i feel draft is risky) with some decent find... all will have role some expanded and some not ... but good result from the draft that i was not too excited about .....
