Well Super Bowl is done....... and Bucs grinded it out a super victory for their fans.... but as we wrap the season wanted to Thanks few Bucs who will be either Free Agents or may retire
1) L.Rodriquez, QB -
You have been our player coach who has been tremendous influence on Jamie Woods..... you took backseat with class and groomed the QB that will lead Bucs for long time... Thanks for your loyalty....... We also recognized that you signed for minimum contract and played as backup just to be part of Bucs...... well oldman if you decide to comeback you know this is your team and you dont need contract.......
2) William Foster, RB -
You are small fellas who played with big heart... you have been good teammate and provided us what we needed as the RB early on and than later on as the special team player.... Thanks and you are always welcome
3) D.Homan , P
I am totally lost on what to say except that you are lazy .... you had chance to move to other team but you stayed local and resigned for minimum to remain Bucs...... you have been our only Punter for almost a decade.....while we will not blame you if you want to get one last big contract....but incase you remain lazy ......Bucs is your home and will always remain.
4) L.Meyer, DE
Honestly we acquired you midseason as the throw in on the deal and due to injury allowed you to stick around for few games but looking at your hard working on the field and how you blended with our team and gave your 100% we would have been stupid to cut you ...... thanks for your contribution
5) S.Dupree, CB
You are classic player who fits our model....you are not lifetime Bucs and we paid decent amount to got you in our team for specific role and boy you did contributed..... you were #1 CB and star while at Miami but you took role of being 1 of the 10 plus DB we carry and rotate through out the season...... well you still have lot left in the tank....... so go get yourself big contract.....incase you have got used to playing sparingly than you will have pending contract from Bucs to make the decision.....
6) M.Sirmans, CB - I am not sure where to start...... we paid very heavy price to acquire you 2003......to lead our weak secondary during that time... you came in and turned the attitude of entire unit..... and have become leader of our secondary..... you went from being undisputed #1 DB to being just a contributing leader.......we know you have lot left in that tank .......wish you great future by saying you made our secondary what it is today so you are always welcome back to lead the mess ( as we call our secondary) you created........
I am sure we will move some other key player this off season too... so thank to each of you for your contribution to make Bucs Super Bowl Champions.
