My Rams rolled into Jax in desperate need of a win to extend our lead in the NFC division. I was playing someone who's been in the league for quite a while, Granddad, and new I had a very slim chance of winning with his years of experience. But I planned my tush off for this game. You can plan all you want but there is no hope if your QB throws 4 int's in which 1 was a pick 6. I lost 6-30. It would've been much worse had Granddad clued me in on some rules I should adopt. I also used some of the D plays, and O plays that were used by the Colts to beat Jax earlier in the year. All in all, the score looked a lot worse than the way my team played. The INT's killed me but my run D was fantastic. In the past, my D would allow the opponent to gain 5-8 yards before anyone touched him because I had been using a lot of Nickel D plays. This game I didn't use any Nickel D plays and it made a world of difference. After looking at the game log, I noticed Granddad and I basically used the same D plays. He was able to use the TE quick out, which I noticed the Colts used a lot, but I don't have it in my O plays which I was hoping to use. I liked the way my team played overall. I'm still the Best in the West but I won't be if I keep losing. I need to make one serious change and hope it works for me next game.
