Bucs started the season with one of the major decision from 2024..... QB room
Christopher Columbus ... our fan favorite gun slinger who was not perfect on field but was undisputed leader who inspired all to keep winning ugly at any cost....due to his erratic play our owner-GM decide to bring young gun James Lee in the room with the view to keep pushing Christopher...... but some reason forgot to trade him at the deadline prompting expensive decision to either resign Lee at the enormous cost or release him to Free Agency...
We made the decision to resign Lee and that also prompted the decision to move our Win at any cost mindset QB Christopher on the trade market.... to our surprise there was no taker... and finally we strike the deal with Vikes... sending him to the loaded team...... team he lead to de-throne Bucs and stop our 3-peat....
Buc's had mixed season...we started soft out of gate but slowly got our feet on ground and put some solid run to win division with the best record in the conference ....but all came down crashing in the conference final..... our defense was good but always suspect to big plays and that killed us
We will have to reload in 2026 if we want to stay relevant... as NFC south has now fielded 3 team in playoff year after year... plus Saints also have fair chance to make it all four in playoff with some luck...
We are proud of our Bucs for putting one more successful season but it was un-fullfilled journey for our team and for sure for our FANS... for apologies to them and we will realign to make the push to stay relevant....
We have talked to all our Free Agents to be and with their wishes we will be granting Free Agency to some of our longterm legends.... so big thank to all of them for their service and they are welcome to join Bucs back if they feel that is the best option for them....
J.Fraizer - had great run as converted RB with receiving skills.. he is life time good WR
K.McRary - our best TE for ages.... since he came over in expensive trade with Browns..... he has been the cornerstone for us so we will miss him and hope he decide to come back to the team.
J.Lusk - He did filled the shoe as the stop gap C and he was decent at it.
D.Ellington - He was new punter and love it that he did not needed to punt for 100 plus time as member of Bucs...
K.Martinez - He was signed mid-season to provide depth and he was good
P.Hills - just signed him for playoff to provide familiar face in the room and it was pleasure to have him in the team....
We will be reviewing the complete roster and we are going to be active (understatement) again in the offseason ....
So while Vikes enjoy the parade and Bills try to find the reason.... we like rest of the 30 teams have already started to think of the offseason...
