Pick out, Garcia inGeorge Pick III, the President of Football Operations for the 'Boys, has been fired by Jerry Jones Jr, the owner of the team he received from his dad, the late and great Jerry Jones. Marshall Garcia, a young former US Congressman from Texas and Army fullback, has been hired as Pick's replacement. Garcia is the de facto GM of the team as well, as he was a scout for the team before he got his start in politics. Garcia looks to turn around a franchise in turmoil that has failed to meet expectations after a 12-4 season last year.
Wagner coming back to Dallas?Rumors are that Dallas is seeking to bring back former Cowboys WR John Wagner. Wagner was a part of the 16-0 2007 Super Bowl champs and is known for having a huge game to beat the Giants in the 2009 playoffs, as he had 180 yards catching and found the end zone. Wagner was released by the Bengals after lackluster number this year, but could find a place in Dallas again.
Hord and Gough on the ropes?Garcia is considering a change at OC and Head Coach, as the Dallas offense has been quite poor with first-year Dallas OC Jose Hord. Since he wasn't a part of the 12-4 2016 team and Garcia is the new Pres. of Football Operations, Hord's job is likely at risk this offseason. Gough is more of a safe bet, as he is a popular coach in the locker room and had solid seasons in '15 and '16, but with a new PFO, Gough shouldn't think his seat will be cool forever
