Well Super Bowl is news of yesterday... today all 32 teams are on same level with the plan and hope claim the Super Bowl trophy......

Here is what we are hearing from the BucsLand

Some good veterans hitting the FA markets - M.Sirmans, CB S.Dupree, CB, D. Homan, P, L.Rodriguez, QB, W.Foster, RB

Some good talent on the block - E.Dawessee, OT, E. Evans, S R. Fortin, CB, G.Townsend, OG , R.Francis , RB , C. Bugsby, WR , E.Drake, DT & I. Wallace, S/LB .... some of them are veteran who will help you 2-3 season and others are still in prime for 3-5 years... so asking price will be accordingly.

What would happen if nobody traded with Hpkman this offseason?

He is 62 million under the cap and needs 63 million to sign all his picks.

Anyone that trades with him is perpetuating his dynasty in my opinion and while you may like a trade with him.......he NEEDS to make trades to survive.

STOP FEEDING THE BEAR

He has 51 draft picks over the next 3 seasons....while having over 30 players signed for the next 3 years.....something has to give!

CJ thanks for calling Bucs the dynasty.......... it took years of hard labor of building this team 1 player at time.... it took us 8 year to even crack the playoff first time... ...but glad to see the results .....

Absolutely no doubt a dynasty....you have done an incredible job winning trade after trade to amass 100s of draft picks....keeping the ones that hit and trading away players and current draft picks for future picks in a never ending cycle.

Brilliant....well done

I'm just curious what would happen if everyone stopped trading with you....without trades, you model for success falls apart.
You have proven time and time again that you are a master at trading so why anyone would trade with you when you clearly come out ahead everytime is a mystery to me.

With 51 picks over the next 3 seasons and 31 players signed over that same time span....without trades to move things around.....that's 28 picks or players you must cut to reach a 53 man roster.

Even with that said....you probably win a couple more titles before 4 seasons from now when you will have just 7 picks a year like everyone else.

I wouldnt worry....I'm sure you will entice enough people to trade with you to keep this run going for another 5 to 10 years.

128 trades total over the last 3 seasons. Here are some of his biggest trade partners and their records over the last 3 seasons.

Rams (10 trades)
2009 1-15
2010 1-15
2011 2-14

Broncos (9 trades)
2009 5-11
2010 5-11
2011 8-8

Jaguars (7 trades)
2009 9-7
2010 7-9
2011 3-12-1

Ravens (7 trades)
2009 8-8
2010 7-9
2011 4-12

Chargers (7 trades)
2009 6-9-1
2010 6-10
2011 5-11

Seahawks (7 trades)
2009 11-5
2010 10-6
2011 4-12

Bengals (6 trades) 3 different owners
2009 6-10
2010 4-12
2011 7-9

Packers (5 trades) 3 different owners
2009 4-11-1
2010 2-14
2011 2-14

That's 53 trades that did absolutely nothing to improve these 8 teams and in most cases made them worse over the course of 3 seasons.

Moral of the story, if you dont know what you are doing....either dont make a trade or better yet seek someone elses opinion.

CJ .... while i respect analysis ..... i have to disagree.... here are the reason..

--- 7 trade over 3 years dont decide win-loose ... you know this very well as you have done miracle with bad DC team for last year.

--- Most team did not went worst ...actually most remain same .. some improved slight and 2 went worst.... Jaguar went bad this season as they went to massive rebuild due to aging QB plus Seahawks took the call to go young at the cost of wins.... so both knew they are not improving in 2011.

--- I will publish analysis of every trade Bucs made in 2011 to show league who got benefits...... yes trade is not perfect science but still wanted to show every trade so all can see black & white with shade of gray (i will publish this tomorrow)

--- I will publish this soon but most of our roster and ability to trade is due to Bucs ability to draft extremely well with late picks and than trading them for better packages. ( i will publish this later in the seaon - How we built Bucs)

--- I will also publish out Top or Big deals from each season to show most big deals where with likes of Omaha, CJ, McGrovil, Raidergreg..... I will publish this as i dont want people to feel i only trade with teams who are non-playoffs.... as i have done lots of deals with winning teams

Lots of GM here are master play callers with 100 of rules set to give them edge... i have built Bucs on good draft and trades...while there is never like a perfect trade.... i just want to make sure GM's can see and decide if trades are done with right intentions .... to benefit both teams.

You can publish anything you want. The proof that you win most trades is in the fact you consistently accumulate 15-20 draft picks every season while keeping your best players.

I applaud you...you are awesome and remember I've received enough offers from you and made enough trades with you to know what you ask and for what level of talent. I mean the shear volume of trades you successfully make is epic so clearly enough people bite on some of those trades you offer.

You put in a ton of work and are a genius when it comes to getting value for marginal players that wont even make your roster of superstars.

I'm not saying you are wrong or you are doing something wrong. I'm saying owners need to seriously sit back and reevaluate making trades with you. You are Jerry Jones, Tony Dungy and Bill Belicheck all rolled into one....isnt that what you said? The rest of us cant compete with that so barring trading with you at all....owners should seek others opinions when trading with you so as not to lose to such a great owner that has amassed the greatest collection of talent in the history of MFN while also having 51 picks over the next 3 seasons to add to it.

Maybe a season or 2 where nobody trades with you will balance the league out and bring your team back down to earth a little bit. Every owner thinks my 1 or 2 little trades wont effect much but you are constantly working the phones and trading with all but 3 teams each and every season.

I know, I've been guilty of it myself but at least I have a title to show for it.

Like I said, it's just my opinion and I'm sure owners will continue to make trades with you. I just came back to help fix my former team after some loser ruined them. This is probably my last season here anyway.

My comments werent really directed at you but about you (The champ and target) to the other 30 owners. Think twice before trading with you because obviously you are having great success via the trade.

You have developed a unique and clearly successful system of team building predicated on a cycle of trading current assets for future assets to stay under the cap and the pressure is on you to keep trading.

Whatever happens...happens. I'm done talking about it. Everyone is free to do what they like....I'm just offering my 2 cents because this is a long running league, run by a great admin with eleven original owners I believe. I seen leagues fold when an owner runs off a long streak of winning like 5-10 years and with Hpkmans roster, future draft capital and improving gameplanning....he is capable of running off 5 to 6 titles very easily with only an owner or 2 that has any chance of stopping him.

Good luck everyone....I'm going dark now...I've said too much already....see everyone on the field for the preseason.

CJ - First and foremost... you are friend and respected GM so i never take anything you say wrong... i actually like your straight view and always welcome it.

I was just positioning my views the way i see...

I agree with you what you are saying is absolutely valid view.... what i want to show is that i am already working to give more trades which are not in my favor as i also want to make sure this league is successful as i do take pride in it as we have set of great owners.

One more time... i absolutely respect and consider you one good friend and best GM in the league...... and i absolutely love that you with equal passion is trying to help build this league too.
