Bucs Explanation - We loved R. Otto from the day he was in the draft... New Orleans got him instead of Bucs.... we were behind him from that day so been trying every year to land him as Bucs.. he is 6 yrs veteran with average career but our coaching staff still felt strong about adding him as we he has not show the wear due to limited playing time.
We paid premium but he is the player who fit our system.... he is the player who is singed to his last contract before he will retire..so gives the player who we wanted as Bucs all along plus give us the cap flexibility as 2nd and 4th round would have coasted us at least 5M total..... while he is only 750k.
Now we understand Colts may pick the star with both or one of those picks.... still we will be happy as Bucs got Otto to come to Tampa when he can still give us 2-3 years....of high caliber play on the field.
