Bad trade, have been seeing posts from other leagues regarding other bad trades by same owner, who has 3 mos exp. And Frey was released right away, want to explain that one, maybe a mistake?

I cant explain why the Rey was dropped but I can let you know Redskins went to Conf finals ... hence their 2nd round pick which has been late 2nd round had the value was in 200 .... hence the trade was balanced when executed.

cjfred was in mfn26 when this post in the general forum was made. What made matters worse was that the thread was made and no immediate comment was made by cj. However when he did respond he gave very valid reasons as to why.
Initially cj applied to join this league but was unable as he did not have enough credits. I PM'd him to join as I think he's been given a rough ride. But this does not mean that he will not be under scrutiny as some of the trades he made in 26 were awful. That said the owner of his old team is loving life because of all the high draft picks he acquired.
I'm not going to reverse this trade as it does seem valid, but did seem questionable.

bottom line, would anyone else in this league trade 3 #2 picks (that will prob be high in the round) for a 9ry old WR with Williams ratings? Granted, he is an 87 AI rated WR, you might want to give up that much if you thought he was the "missing piece" to get your team in contention for the LC. That's the only reason I would think there was any reasoning behind the trade for Washington, as Frey was a throw-away. And I would have a concern about Williams as his TD's went down by over half last season from 11 to 5, and he is hitting the dreaded "9 yr rating and speed loss" for a WR or RB. Plus, Frey was released the same sim he was acquired!!!



Of course the trade is valid, if it passes the weak trade meter. "Seem" is putting it lightly, lol. And we dont have a clue on what the intent was here, I dont blame hkp a bit for accepting the trade offer, I question what cj's thinking and intent was on this trade.

I can cut slack for a "noob", and as anyone who knows me or that I have done a roster review for, Im all about owners/GMs improving and making their teams more competitive, that makes for a better league. But in cj's case, he is goin off like a shotgun with bad trades so far, spattering the room, lol. Happy to help him with his decision-making process, all he needs to do is pm me. cheers, gdb
