It's clear we need a trade committee to ensure competitive balance and protect newer players that don't understand the relative value of positions and put trust in the trade balancer which experienced owners understand is broken.

The committee will be 5 owners nominated by the league and me.

I will have 4 votes.

Each committee member will have 1.

In order to override my vote, the committee must be unanimous.

Subsequently, if me and one committee member vote in the same way, the trade will stand.

I cannot review my own trades. So a 3 of 5 vote can void or approve them.

Nominate owners to serve this.

also assume that whilst Seth rightly recuses, that also applies to committee members.

Even someone didn't recuse, my vote would outweigh the entire committee. So it would be better to have them unanimous opposite.

Yeah, can see that.

In the case where you recuse tho and the trade is with someone on the committee is the scenario I had in my mind.
