But Alleman did only start 7 total games in his career. My point is starting centers don't get traded. And if they did, they would probably fetch a 2nd or a 3rd.

I could definitely see a 2 for a starting center. But this guy is fatally flawed, and they gave up multiple high picks AND a vet who is far superior.

I agree. This trade is flawed. But if that's what he's willing to give up for what he thinks is a starting and younger center... then who am I to judge. We are all grown men. I know one thing though... I wouldn't do this trade.

But you're right... even at 34, Willie Brown is the better center. I have know idea what SF was thinking.

I hope the newbie sticks it out, considering nobody will want to take over a ravaged roster with no first- or second-round picks in 2037 or 2038, and no third-rounder next year.

But hey. At least they'll have a 30-year-old center who can't pass block.

Just realized I actually cut that center in one of the first moves I made when I took over my team. If only I had known the picks I could someday get for him ...

Sorry this trade is way too lopsided and is now void.
The setting I have on the trade meter is set to allow all trades because we know how ridiculous it is.
This sensible and fair debate is why I will leave it on , I might be the admin , but it’s your league and it’s great to see fair play being used here .
