NFL Fans League All Pro Defense 2000 season Defense MVP, Secondary & Linebackers

Defensive MVP........ Dave Whitsell CB NO Saints, 5 yr vet.
Had most thrown ats (175) and allowed 32.6%. Career high 10 interceptions led league, and had most tackles for a CB with 101. Selected by NO at 2.11 in allocation draft. Trade value 1440 (should be 1900+ imo)

OK, its late and Im worn out, eyes have gone bad looking at stats, so I may have overlooked a player who deserves to be on the All Pro list, please do not hesitate to submit for consideration any player who I may have ommitted and reason for being included. I did not check all the players cards to see if they were used at the position on their card or not, so let me know if you had one of the listed players at a different position, like WLB instead of SLB. Congrats to all who have All Pros selected, look forward to seeing how they do next season. Would be great if JDB added MVPs & All Pros for the season, like the Players of the Week, will suggest it if you think it would be a good addition to the fun & enjoyment of the game. Thought it might also be good to post the players defaults & key atts so you can compare, will do on an edit over the next few days if you guys would like to see that, including when all the players were selected, its good information you can use down the road. The Def Line All Pros will be coming up next.

Special Note: Along with the Pitt Steelers having 3 DBs on the All Pro list, the Chicago Bears have all 3 of their starting LBs on the list and all 3 in the top 20 for tackles, with a combined 300+ tackles, Garcia (11yr/12.17 pick) 106, Bowman (6yr/2.17) 105, and Schuh (7yr/5.16) 95, quite a defensive achievement IMHO. However, Garcia is nearing retirement, and Bowman & Schuh have 5-6 seasons left tops, trade off there in an allocation draft and long term, but was great season they all put together.
