It's back to the day of when blitzing ruled the world.

1 game in and I only did a bit of sussing around so I can't say if Hot Reads will still be in effect. I saw some listed when I scrolled around but if we trend to the days of streaming blitzes (5 or so overall total defensive plays) decimating all runs and passes in sight....I'll be out faster than the Flash.

There's no way it would go backwards that badly. I remember the 40 sack seasons for 60 speed DEs though...It was insufferable.

I think the main thing is that they fixed the fact that high end DEs were struggling to get 10 sacks a season, and by making DEs viable again blitzing of course is going to be stronger. But if the engine is so broken that the overuse penalty doesn't cancel out the strength of blitzing we will be back to yet another game-killing turn of events.

What I have seen so far, regardless of how good the defense is, there will be 10 sacks a game by a team at least. I have seen anywhere between 10-20 per team per game. I have built some decent defenses and it is sad to see that a mediocre or bad defense plays as well as mine. I realize there are coding issues, but as I have stated in other leagues, this was a premature release.
