There is a standings glitch I think is in play here, and Tampa could make the playoffs with a win and Carolina loss in week 16.

I have not worked out tiebreakers but in the USFL/WFL we just had 2 teams make the playoffs after having the "e" for elimination next to their name in the standings after week 15.

In this league, Carolina is not marked as a playoff team, despite all other NFC teams being eliminated or in. That tells me Tampa is likely not yet eliminated.

GrandadB..... let me have my fan moment... beating you to get to playoff is like winning SuperBowl...... you along with few others are gold standard when it comes to gameplan... so will have to try my best... and see where we land... but none the less it will always be the game close to Bucs heart and will play our heart out.... even if we win or loose one thing for sure we will have best learning for our team as we go into offseason planning....

You got it hkp, and whether you win or lose, you have continually been improving your game, actively participated and posted in the forum, and now, along with beating the Falcons or not, you need to start picking up more teams, lol. But seriously, its a pleasure having players like you in any league on MFN.
Win or lose, this will be my last season in this league, as I mustve lost my mind and now have 15 teams along with a new allocation draft coming up in a week or two. I need to cut that in about half, and I prefer the leagues with the non-NFL team names/colors & college teams, along with the challenge of trying to win the LC in a league that I havent won one in before. It has been a lot of fun in this league, only one I have been in where Ive played against the same team (Mac's Browns) in the first 5 Super Bowls, we both mustve had very good allocation drafts, lol. Also, congrats to Greg/Raiders for winning the 2005 LC last season and breaking the streak, which he had nailed in the 2003 LC with only 8 seconds left, and then the miracle bomb took it away. Other than a FG to win a game, that's the only one where a long TD pass play on the last play to win it happened in a game that I was in, it comes to mind every time that I'm on either side of that situation. I'm glad Greg won the LC last season to help ease the pain, lol, and has a good shot as any at winning it again this season. Thank you all for the fun, excitement, frustration, and enjoyment of playing the MFN game in this league, cheers!

Wow.... Grandad great game..... Bucs played hard ..... and left all on the field... except my kicker decided to take the day off ... 2 miss FG and missed extra point.... still my Bucs was winning and we thought that we may make the playoff...but you scored last second FG complete your 4th QTR comeback to win 23-22.....
