I'm done drafting for the day, no picks until tomorrow. I work from 6p to about 5a so any trade requests will be looked at then.
Nothing wrong with building from the inside out, that's how it's often done in the NFL. I am taking a different approach, sort of a best available/position scarcity/youth movement combo with exceptions. I took 2 old DB's because you need a solid defensive backfield in MFN and the young guns available seem too risky. I don't usually do this in allocation but this league has much better overall drafting ability and good young safe players are not falling like they did in other drafts. At this point they only get 2 year contracts so as long as they are at <1% retirement I will look at them.
Our 3rd season is gonna be wild in free agency as most of the players will finally be able to negotiate.
Well, Ariz's last pick in round 6 was another sub 30 rated player, which at this point means they will be much worse than playing an AI picked team. I asked a friend to see if he could fix it but he said all teams were taken when he checked a couple of hours ago. So, congrats to both divisions who get Dallas and Arizona twice a year, thats an automatic 2 wins & one less competitive team in your division. Both those teams will be extremely hard to repair during the first 2 league seasons, maybe even into the 3rd, as there will be no decent FA's available. Congrats also to whomever decided it would be enjoyable to do that to a new league, real nice, you should be real proud of yourself, and I know you will be reading this as your sick mind and non-life outside MFN continues on in a negative manner. You are a coward and punk of the highest magnitude.

Yes they will, maybe perennial whipping boys. I'm still hopeful that someone will at least come in and takeover the draft.
There really weren't that many elite safe players. A whole lot of above average players with volatility. It probably was the hardest allocation draft for me personally. I believe there are plenty of middle of the road quality starters but it was hard to find more than few 90 plus early on. **** I took a DT in round 2 which is embarrassing and probably shouldn't have
I have a serious question and I don't really care so much about what's happening but do you guys make these trades with targeted players in mind or just to move around or what? I mean trading for a 20th round pick I don't see the rational. I mean, if you scoured the draft class and some spreadsheet said 20-25th rounds are the best value for position then ok.
I'm just curious. No offense intended.

Most of my trade is based on who I have left on my board and what I can pick up... I understand I have to pay price to pick the players I want
