I've managed to get around that on my tablet. Al Toon, Al wasn't on the list but it still went through ;)

None as of yet but I still have 2 OL from this day I have yet to name, pending their ultimate position entering camp.

Day 4

Like yesterday, I have OL yet to name pending positions.

Howard Long - No Howie? Really? Formal name again then.

Van McElroy - Vann hit so hard during his real life career he has since lost an N from the end of his name lmao.

I needed to draft a center to make my OL the way I want it, and I did just that at 26.31. The guy I had originally at C profiles better as a guard so I'm finally able to name and number them.

Only issue I had with the OL was Lincoln Kennedy's #72 which was also worn by John Matuszak. I wanted to save 77 for a possible Lyle Alzado (more on him, Tooz and Kennedy in league discussion soon) but Alzado isn't there.

Why is John Madden a player on my team? He was drafted as Mr. Almost Irrelevant (next to last pick) and I had just 2 minutes or so to rename him since he's not a rookie. For future consideration maybe there is a way for the name machine to be left on for 24 hours after allocation drafts for non rookies. I checked again 5 minutes or so after the draft and John Madden couldn't be changed if I wanted to.

No big deal as I wanted to name my last pick after Madden. I would have used Al Davis, and I might in the future but for now I'm content with my other Al Davis. My first ever Raiders draft pick I named AD and he just wrapped up his rookie year with 127 tackles as a MLB.

Some people may also wonder why I have another ex Raiders head coach on my team along with Apollo Creed. They were both ex Raider players, Flores as a QB in the 60's and Carl Weathers in the early 70's. Check out the notes on the back of his football card lmao.

The rest of the draft had some inconsistencies, mostly due to shared uniform numbers.

Jim Otto - Otto wore 00 as a player which is impossible to have here

Ben Davidson - Idk what it was with Raiders defensive players and the number 83 but he wore that number. I would give him 83 over Willie Gault but the only way I could would be to temporarily make Davidson a WR or TE which I cannot do.

Curt Marsh and Otis Sistrunk both wore 60 as Raiders but I decided to let Sistrunk keep the number.

Reggie McKenzie and Greg Biekert both wore 54 as Raiders but given McKenzie is the current Raiders GM, he gets to keep it.

Speaking of Biekert, that last name wasn't in the system so I had to drop the "T" at the end and call him Bieker.

Calvin Branch - He wore 27 and 37 as a Raider and giving him 37 is out of the question as that's Lester Hayes' number. Reggie Nelson wears 27 currently and I have liked him since Jacksonville when he was on my IDP fantasy team. Liked him even more when he was on my 2nd favorite team, Cincinnati and now the Raiders have him? Sweet.

I believe that's all of them but it's possible something slipped through the cracks.
