Do we do the actual signings on the day of "End of Season" or the day before. It seems that if I sign players before EoS starts, I end up losing one year of the contract.

Any input would help!

Day before or on end of season, it’s the same. Thing is, it’s a new year the next day so it will always be one year less. If that helps.

When free agency first opens, I check to see who on my team is on the last year of their contract and renew the key ones. Might as well get 16 games out of the current year's bonus $$$. Borderline guys, I'll wait on, see how they perform before offering an extension.
