This one seems pretty uneven to me, a 1st for a 29 year old CB ?

Ill trade Mathis for a 1st round pick.

Panthers did get a playoff berth last season, so potentially a late 1st there.

Borderline for me, a 2nd would've been more representative imo, having said this, speed drop will kick in at 30, so one full year as is, 96 speed means can still be effective in future seasons depending on the drop.
