mate dont be so sensitive no one is slating you just saying the trades you arranged favour you rather than your trade partner,your doing nothing wrong but im sure if you had offered that deal to everyone 90% of the vets wouldnt pull the trigger.
as someone thats traded with you plenty over the years your a good guy,you always back up trades by saying you would send extra if guys aint happy.i love the fact couple of times a seaon ill have a message inbox from tampa trying to stir up trade chat

Nobody wants you to give up the team

I'm the jerk who voted the other way. As much as I think you're a likeable guy, these are my concerns:

Your trades create competitive disadvantages across the league.

You routinely fleece ignorant or inexperienced owners.

You pretend in bad faith to not understand why trades are imbalanced.

You have known for many seasons that other owners are opposed to your trading frequency, but you continue to do it anyway.

You're barely competitive despite having one of the most loaded rosters in the league, year in and year out.

My trade for 1-3 and 1-4 is no different than your 2035 trade for 1-1 with inexperienced Chiefs owner I have shared the detail in the msgs…..I don’t have any issue with your trades ..just pointing out that it always feel someone got better end of trade

I trade a lot but as pointed out by many I always check and correct all my bad trades

I trade a lot but as I self govern on 3 1st and 3 2nd round limits so I move all excess pick to move up or future picks

How have I tilted balance of the league …most of time it’s Vikes, Jags, giants, packers, ravens, chargers, Jets and Steelers who has won Super Bowl

I agree with most of what IoT said though. You clearly enjoy the trading part of the game the most, but your trades also end up hurting many more teams than they help.

For one, if you trade with an inexperienced player that doesn't know the game well enough to know the value of a player or position then you can collect a lot of picks in your favor. When players learn the game, this can lead to frustration and resentment and those players leave.

Exclusively trading for other teams picks irregardless of trying to build a core team ends up hurting player distribution across the league. Who wants to join a team that has few upcoming picks because they were all traded away a few seasons ago for a veteran player that is no longer on the roster? Especially when those now high picks are all owned by one team. The excitement of the draft is then taken away from owners that want to rebuild a team.

You are smart enough to draft the best players with these high picks and then trade skill players when they are right about to crash skills (year 8 for a skill player and 9-10 for lineman and quarterbacks) so it's not like you don't know that you're doing. And this just continues the cycle because owners see the eye candy of the full blue bars across the card without realizing the player is going to be unplayable in a few years.

So while you should stay on an owner, your trading practices are rightfully being questioned. And the preservation of the league through aspects like trade committees needs to happen. Otherwise, we'll lose owners which MFN already fragile community can't really afford. Otherwise, you won't have any trade partners because it's going to be you and half a league of empty teams.

I gave up two 1s and two 2s.

Here is what the trade looked Draft 2035

Viking traded 2036 1st round (#30th pick), 2026 2nd round (#62 pick), 2037 1st round (#32) and 2037 2nd round (#64) …..basically 2 late future 1st round and 2 late future 2nd round

Viking received 2035 - 1st round 1st pick plus 7th round to make trade possible


So are you telling me this was good trade (personally I have no issue with this trade) but Bucs - Texan trade is where Bucs fleece them

Bucs send 2041 - 1st round (#32) , 2nd round (#44) , 2nd round (#45) plus 2042 2nd round ….

Bucs receive-1-4 and 7th round to make trade possible

Yes visually it’s 2 - 1st and 2- 2nd but both at the end of round …..plus mine is one 1st round and 3 2nd round but early to mid second round so overall not much different

In the future the committee would review this trade as well. Nominate people for the committee.
