Just to summarize
Combined trade here is what exchanged
Saints traded
1-3 2043 - 1st round 2042 and 2043 - 7th round
Bucs traded
2041 1st round 29th 2041 2nd round 18th 2041 2nd round 21st 2041 2nd round 26th Louis Bardin - DL with 88-92 rating ( worth low 1st or high 2nd round pick - he is original mid 2nd round who has boomed ) J.Gwynn, DLhe is backup DL Plus couple of throw in for trade k. Hill, CB F.Garrett,FB
It’s not highly unbalanced trade ….fact is there never any trade that’s for sure balanced but knowing that trade a lot and my words that we will never make you regret any trade
I am willing to add.
2041 or 2042 Bucs 2nd round plus Thomas Hale , QB as Saints need one this is another Low 2nd value.
Never knew will negotiate as community but want to assure we will fix any trade where anyone is unhappy or have doubts
Kalvin I need you happy and enjoy the game …..whatever you decide along with commish we can execute and incase you want to reverse both trade let me know too
let’s enjoy the offseason and more trades to come

I think I'm going to stand firm on the trade even though I thought a extra player and a pick could make this worthwhile.... But I'm waiting to see what the verdict of what sort of solution that will help this issue.
You said extra player and pick
2041 or 2042 Bucs 2nd round. Thomas Hale - QB

Definitely, I really am enjoying this game. I like to work to win when it comes to gm games. At times I admit that I have to reminded of what I put up at stakes.used to playing against a.i when it comes to trade logic but this probably the deepest football game that I ever play other than Madden.
I hope that everyone in this league is satisfied with the outcome with this issue.

it's not an issue with you per se kalvin.
Our resident "only wanna GM" is imo extracting urine. 2042 he now has 31 draft picks. It's an endless cycle of trade for high picks - get high picks - trade for more high picks.
This and next two drafts, 11 1st rounders. 2042, 12 2nd rounders.
if he was trying to win a Championship... that's one thing.

I get your point Mart and tend to agree with it, Him being my main division rival means I rarely if ever trade with him and certainly not for high picks (I think I've completed maybe two trades with him in all my time here) However one of those 11 first rounders he has in the upcoming drafts is yours so if you're that against what he's doing maybe don't trade with him. I happen to think he's fleeced the Saints in this one, as has been said trading the 3rd overall pick for a non premium position. Personally I think his last trade of getting the 4th overall pick for the 32nd pick and three second rounders is another duff trade, giving up pick 4 for the last pick in the first and some mid level 2nd rounders is WAY to little.

I tend to assess trade offers made on an individual basis if I'm honest and you're right, I don't think I'll trade with them again. It was only when I checked how many picks they have that I saw the scale of the problem.
I agree with your assessment, but the sheer scale of trades also imo damages the game. When someone holds 12 second rounders for next year, there's something wrong.
I get the whole preferring the GM side of things, that's what roster only leagues are for?
EDIT: Should the old rule about the number of picks you can have in early rounds be re-instated?

I would favor a rule about the volume of picks (for example, no more than 3 first rounders, no more than 3 second rounders), but I wonder about the merits of creating a rule for one specific individual.
Also, how do you enforce the rule if someone ends up with too many picks and doesn't make a trade to rectify it? And if you were to force Tampa to unload all those picks at this point, are there teams that will benefit more than others?

I have always self govern 3 picks in 1st and 2nd round hence the flurry of trades

Perhaps the answer is to simply reverse any trade that results in someone acquiring more than three 1s or 2s in any given draft.
