For those who don't care about the title game due to not being in it, the way too early Draft thread.

WAY TOO EARLY DRAFT THOUGHTS ON OFFENCE PLAYERS

QB - some decent ones there, expect 3 in top 10 picks. Maybe 4 in first round.
RB - Not much there, top end very boom or bust.
FB / TE - Lumping the two in together, one elite prospect who could well bust, one just below elite prospect and a lot of bang average
WR - Some very good options, the easiest position to sort on my draft board. Be nice if were a few more taller ones around.
O Line - Plenty of big meaty men slapping meat on the trenches.

I'm changing a few things around offensively this season, given it's my weakest area. In terms of areas of need, there are some good prospects that may be available when I pick in the first round but it's looking very much like I'd focus on FA for areas of need on offence.

Arizona's tank job paid off with those WRs at the top of the draft.

FWIW, height only matters on rare jump *****.

My issue with the height is there are too many clones around... all more or less same height. All gravitate to same weight...be nice to have variation. Would be better to have say a target weight per position - allow them to end up within a few lbs of that. Maybe link it to int/disc - low stats there, they just can't leave the all you can eat buffet.

DEFENSIVELY...

DLine - Some nice top end talent that will either become megastars or distinctly average. LDE/RDE not a great crop.
LB - one of the best position groups imo, again with the volatility lottery playing a massive part. Definitely boom or bust.
SEC - Definitely one of the better groupings out there, some real talent.
