Congrats to VFan's Jets and yoda's Bucs (also known as HKP's revenge). The bad news for the league is that azyoda has already brought the Bucs up to the top with a 15-1 reg season, and is sitting on a slew of 1st and 2nd round picks over the next 3 drafts. For those of you who may not know, IOT asked seth for the team first, knowing what was already there and coming, and was denied. Think its coincidental that both of them have left the league after dominating it for several seasons? (6 out of 8 LCs, 5 by IOTs Vikings) Who knows, they could say that they didnt and who would doubt it. Anyway, congrats to both teams, both great guys that know how to win. This will be the 4th LC game in a row for VF's Jets, the last 3 against IOT's Vikings. Best of luck to both in the final, may the sim be with you.

For what it’s worth, when Seth reached out to me he asked if me if I wanted the Bucs but explained that there was a crazy draft pick and likely salary cap struggles that could be disastrous without an experienced owner. He also said if I wanted to join but didn’t want that headache that the Vikings owner would take the Bucs and I’d take the Vikings if I was more interested in that.
I do like rehabbing bad teams but TB was going to be a different challenge than that so I took it.
I’m disappointed that IOT and Seth left as they are MFN legends and I learn more studying and playing a team like that. Seth did say he had some things going on that he needed to prioritize over MFN right now when I reached out after he stated he was going to be taking an extended break. Hope we get them both back.

Its pretty amazing what HKP did in the trades, I tried to help him with his gameplanning and play selection but he could not put it into play. There was a part of him that liked the oddity of being such a great trader and terrible coach.
Some resented him for it, and it got to the point where he quit as a result, which is why I call the Bucs his revenge, now in the hands of a very capable manager/coach. Problem with so many first and second round pick? thats not a problem, that is gold, you can trade picks for later drafts if nothing else. I had a similar situation with my team in the Major League, I made several trades with teams that had losing records, giving them a first or second round pick for a player that I really didnt need but had high enough trade meter to make the deal go through.

Green and St Patty's had it goin on the last two games for the Jets, congrats Vikings Fan. Not easy to come back down 17-3 vs a championship level team, amazing.

Congrats on the Championship Jets! Solid gameplan put you back into control, was hoping to get it to OT but sensed we turn it over at exactly the wrong time and that letdown certainly came through. Very balanced attack that we didn’t have the answer for. Well deserved and an impressive season!

…and congrats to you as well, Buccaneers / azyoda, for a dominating season (and many more coming for you as has been discussed). My squad was more than fortunate (really lucky) to somehow survive your strong start in the championship game. If we could set up a sim that spots you a 14 point lead five minutes into the game, and if we ran that sim 100 times, this game might be the only example of a Jets win. Again, kudos to you on a great season.
