Heading into the second year of ownership under MasterMe, The Detroit Lions have are expected to go through a minor rebuild, The Lions should be looking at the draft to get new players, as their cap space is low.
Draft: In the first round, the new Lions head coach and former Lions QB coach Justin Tyner has drafted the QB of the future, Anthony Dillion. Free Agent Tony Mendonca has been brought in "to provide competition for QBs Joshua Nelson and Jeremy Farkas. According to owner MasterMe, only the winner of this 3-way QB competition will remain with the team, first loser expected to be released or traded before the regular season starts, the other will be released/traded before week 8
SLB Larry Miller has been drafted 32nd overall by the Lions, the Lions got the pick as well as the 40th pick with a trade with the Bucs, Larry Miller will be playing week 1 due to lack of depth at the position, he will be playing behind 7th-year vet Keith Parker who started 9 games last year and played in 15. Parker forced and recovered a fumble, Parker has spent 2 years with the Lions and 4 with the Chargers.
At the 40th overall pick, the Lions have drafted WR Shawn Gabriel, He is expected to grow into a reliable number 2 option, and help WR Terry Ball get more open

He should develop as a reliable slot WR with good hands ....

This just in, Anthony Dillon has shown great promise in training camp, improving from a 81 potential to a 90

Eventually he should be a great QB but you'll need to wait on his accuracy to mature. It's only 25/100 now which means he will struggle, but as that blue bar turns red, his perfomance should improve.

Totally agreed... If he was on Bucs roster we would redshirt him for 1 year and than slowly groom him to start next year..... he will be good but give him time .. plus Farkas can hold fort for 1 more year
