Crazy finish between us and Denver!! They scored three touchdowns inside final two minutes of the game and take it to over time!! Luckily we won it but wow we nearly threw it away!!!

If we beat the Chargers and you win, you'll have a better conference record. Well Raider did not wanted to go to playoff by keeping you home.. so your streak is alive... congrats :) |

Btw, GG Atlanta/ mmr253 I guess it's because Minnesota is 6-0 in their division, and because I have a perfect tie with Philadelphia but I am still behind, I guess there is maybe a points difference, like a goal average in "soccer" ? Philadelphia : +240 points Giants : +217 Minnesota : +259 Carolina : +172 Both Philadelphia and Minnesota lead this "goal average", and both are in bye week... |

I had a similar situation in the World League (Russia) where I thought I made it when I should have been eliminated. JDB said something like I had best net points. I know he says we use NFL tiebreakers but we clearly don't use them in the same order as Goodell and company. In a 3 team tiebreaker, the 2nd one is a head to head sweep (applicable if one team swept both the others or lost to both other teams). https://www.nfl.com/standings/tie-breaking-procedures I would suggest PM'ing JDB and asking him why. It's likely not going to change but at least you'd know why.

I'd be willing to bet the answer is net points, even if it is placed too high in the list of MFN tiebreakers.
Minnesota + 259 Philadelphia +240 Carolina +172 |

Well Raider did not wanted to go to playoff by keeping you home.. so your streak is alive... congrats :) I'm not trying to play football God, determining who gets in or not. True, I wanted Cleveland eliminated, but I was never gonna lose on purpose. I "took care" of Cleveland week 15, then decided to let the chips fall where they may week 16. I played week 16 selfishly. I thought about putting in my backup QB, but why? We are still in version 4.5 where QBs do not take off and run, reducing their injury chances to near zero. I did play my RB3 and RB4 as my 2 main rushers, so my top 2 RBs could stay healthy and I sat anyone with a hangnail. In the end, my main goal was to hit the playoffs healthy and we did that for the most part. It's not like the Browns are the only team that can beat me and no matter who we play, we still have to win 2 games against good teams to get back to where we want to go. |
