I have two problems with this trade.

1) The GM of New England made this trade & immediately abandoned the team.
2) This is an 8-year veteran WR being traded for a 1st Rd pick. Not Cool.

whats happened to smirt?agree if hes abandoned team already no point letting questionable trade like this pass if hes not around to deal with consequences

Team needed an influx of talent. I wasn't worried about tossing a 1st at adding a short term difference maker to get a piece for the team and then add more at next FA.

I didn't abandon the team. I was booted completely unrelated to the trade and in silence through underground PM'ing until poof I was GM no longer and then PM'd for the first time to let me know I was gone.

sounds like a sinister plot :) gutted your not sticking around you maybe abrasive but your good coach.yeah can see the benefits of WR if you was sticking around,ive seen you move your early picks regulary in other leagues.

Roster was in shambles play maker wise. 1 legitimate one to work off of. I put together that trade and another one to give the team a chance. I can't play the game from a no shot perspective.

Guys...... First of all Trade was done when he owned the team and we have seen similar trade from Smirt before...but anyway its pointless as he is not owning the team.... so i will leave it to all to decide...

Its very different situation but i want to do whats right for all..... as long as i dont have livid player back who i cant sign.

To be clear i am ok for him to be back as long as its not livid and not hitting the cap ...

Firstly this was my decision alone to let Smirt go, me personally I have no issue with him at all, but after careful consideration felt it best if he wasn’t part of the league.
