Whatever happens, the Packers are just happy to still be playing football this late in the season. After seven owners over 14 years, this is the Pack's first playoff appearance. We lost a tough one to the Giants in week 15 in Green Bay, and now have to travel to the big city for a playoff game against the well rested G-men. A few of our key players are banged up after the melee with the Lions in the opening round, so it will be up to the role players and backups to earn their paychecks this week. It should be a fun one to watch from the owner's box.
Good luck to all the teams still in the running, and to those who aren't -- best of luck on a successful offseason.
Interesting matchup in NFC ... two of the better GM facing off two of the better coaches.... so its battle of roster vs game plan...... it could be double upset.... but no matter the result it will be interesting game
Both GM with their good roster some how managed to Win two ugly games...
Thanos .... this is our 3rd game in 2 season all decided by less than 3 points.... just glad that our journey continues.........but you are building great team and they are tough to beat. This was ugly game.. you had our QB down to its knees ........but some how we managed ugly win due to our special teams....
GG Houston, bad time for my defense to forget how to play
Thanks Greg, GG
I am shocked, I was thinking I was already way over my head in this game and expecting a 20+ point loss. Was probably getting a ton of lucky RNG rolls.
Tough luck for you

I've put this in another forum, anyone else notice a change in the gameplay? QBs that were usually reliable are now throwing picks, plays that used to work either don't or are not as effective. Kick returns????
Great game, Giants. Shut me down on offense and made a nice comeback with 17 unanswered points.
To the point about things changing with the sim, I can't say I noticed anything specific, other than my QBs continued bad decisions to throw to the back when other guys are wide open. I chalk it up to good gameplanning by my opponents and bad luck on the playcalling decisions.
Again, I don't think the sim changed, but my team did regress and it was frustrating. I didn't experiment with many new plays but as the season went along my coach kept calling the same ones more often. My gameplan and rules were the same, I use 25-30 different plays, but maybe I was just getting stuck in a pattern that led to overuse of some dumb plays I should have cut out of the playbook?
My star WR (Corcoran); Regular season: 68 targets, 48 catches, 1,296 yards, 16 TD Post Season (2 games): 4 targets, 1 catch, 11 yards, 0 TD
It seems like my QB was making poor decisions over the last four games or so, throwing it to the flat when there wasn't any pressure and not taking any chances on the deep throw. Throwing shorter passes for higher completions but fewer yards and more INTs. QB Duffy: Regular Season: 62% completion, 8 ypa, 30 TD, 11 INT Post Season: 68% completion, 6 ypa, 2 TD, 2 INT
Thanks god I have my defense, I look like 2016 Giants, McAdoo to kill the offense and Spagnuolo to save the whole team with his defense and sending the team in playoff. The differences are no OBJ, no boat in Miami, and a win against GB.
So, I have the same feeling than you, stupid QB decisions, but I noticed that checkdowns are overpowered, the defense can't cover it properly, the guy in man cover is often late and when the ball is in the air and an other defensive player wants to play the ball he always go through the ball without touching it.
I completely gave up with gameplanning, it seems that I have something different than you, to have the same results at the end, even when I used to try different things I always had the same results, new coach, new QBs, etc... I think the only thing to do is to wait for a new engine that will improve offense...
*And I have also noticed that my QB was playing poorly at the end of season, I don't know if it's a coincidence ?

QB's are joke my stud QB is play below 8.7 rating go figure..... its like suddenly he forget how to play QB.. i bet i can get better play if i let my punter play QB.

GG Bucs and hkpman! Two straight years you have bumped me out.
It was a bit of a bizarre game with your QB really struggling, but me not being able to capitalize in large part to your D.
Priority #1 this offseason is to get a decent GD kicker!
