I'd really like to see the War Room available @ playoffs rd 1.

Only problem is, draft order not set.

Can lock positions in for teams outside playoffs, sure, but means order would need to be run each time games played to populate.

Could instead decouple the display so that users have access to the draft setting functionality without draft order being displayed? If that were to happen, then could access war room and draft board once draft class generated.

Please stop. This is not a reasonable request that you keep coming back to. The draft order must be entirely set before the War Room is available. You can look at the draft class to prepare during the playoffs, and there is more than enough time during Free Agency to set up your War Room.

I didn't have any of the agenda you assumed.
A normal person would have simply stated "can't do that until the draft order is set."
And then I would have been all "yeah, duh totally overlooked that." I would have added some other self-deprecation about missing the obvious, you could have skipped being nasty, and we both could have grinned.

Why is it "not reasonable"? The War Room provides several areas of functionality.

1. View the draft pick times ahead of draft - requires draft order set.
2. View draft picks as made during the draft - requires draft order set.
3. Enable you to set your manual board - which can be done pre-draft AND during the draft.

Point 3 is directly relevant to this suggestion. There's an argument that if the draft class is available ahead of the draft order being set, then there's nothing preventing you being able to set draft board then, which I'd tend to agree with.

From a coding perspective, it's possible to decouple the manual board setting from the draft display. The suggestion is perfectly reasonable from a UX perspective and a technical perspective.
