TE-centric Offense.

I have a super star Rookie TE, and my other TE is fairly good as well.

I want an Offense to revolve around TE, especially since my RBs are effective though not stars.

I moved to either 2/2/1 or 0/3/2 Offenses to ensure that TE's are a major focus. Despite that, I only have 1 Catch for 5 Yards from my Rookie, and my other TE hasn't even been targeted.

How do you get TEs more looks? Or is this a case of just moving the TE out to eventually be a big WR?

I don't have an answer, but maybe the owner of this player does:

The guy has caught 100+ catches in both his first two seasons and is listed at TE - #1 not as a WR. So unless he's using a lot of depth chart overrides, his offense is getting it done.

I'm glad you posted this guy because it backs up what I was going to post. If you want to overtly target your TE, you'll need to make sure that you're calling plays where the TE should be the primary receiver. Looking at the first few games, here are the personnel sets and plays were the TE caught a pass:

11 - TE Quick OUt
12 - TE Curl Flat
12 - Ins and Outs
11 - TE Corner
21 - Quick Outs
11 - Skinny Post
11 - Slot Curls
22 - TE Drag
22 - Quick In
22 - TE Post
21 - TE Middle
11 - FL Drag
21 - TE Out

I'll probably use this to create a playbook for leagues where my TE is my best player.

By frak, I think you got it.

I was more worried about having the Formation to ensure TE's, but there are direct plays for them and THAT is where I should focus!

I'll have to adjust some things and see how it works.

Thank you as well, as your observation lead to what is likely the answer!
