Weights for QBs

I'm re-doing my weights for QBs, and I wanted to get some suggestions/insights on it. Unlike the other positions, I'm finding QBs the hardest to weight because of other factors in the game code like the under pressure penalties.

So far I'm thinking these are the most important attributes:
Accuracy (100) ← this is the most obvious one
Arm strength (75)
Passing release (75)
Look off defense (50)
Intelligence (50)
Discipline (50)
Field of Vision (30)
Acceleration (20) ← I think this should be higher
Scrambling skill (20) ← maybe this one too

I'm basing these attributes and numbers off of top performing QBs in different leagues that I have seen. I'm curious what attributes others value the most.

Ehh..move down release and move up look off def and field of vision

Field of vision is important....to me anyway.The QB will throw into doubles a lot if it's low.

I'll play around with that. I wasn't sure where to put release so I was leaving it high. I figured it could drop to 50 or so.

I can see the argument for Look off, but how much stock do you put in FOV? It seems to be a consensus on the boards that low FOV QBs perform as well or even outperform high FOV ones.

I've had the opposite experience actually. My high FOV QB will throw downfield into triple coverage and completely ignore the underneath route. My low FOV QB will hit the underneath route for a 5-10 yard gain.

I'm not so sure....

my 86/86 QB is playing like a ****.

86 accuracy (the big reason)
95 arm strength
84 look off
79 field of vision
89 release


and my QB 72/73 is my starter right now. he's a lot better

Accuracy 97
arm strength 43
look off 97
field of vision 97
release 62

I have a QB in MFN6 that's 63 overall and thats on the downside of his career. He has 100 pass accuracy and 100 field of vision so every year he throws for 5000+ yards and is one of the top 3 quarterbacks in the league.

In both of the above examples, I'm wondering if the success of your QBs has more to do with the >95 accuracy more than it has to do with the high FOV. If you had a QB that was having equal success with a low accuracy score,

There is a QB in MFN-19 that dominated the league for a few years (part of it was gameplanning by the GM) who had 100 accuracy and 39 arm with average FOV and look off: http://mfn19.myfootballnow.com/player/1032

maybe thats the case. but in all those situation, a 86/86 QB well rounded is suppose to be a lot better than a 59/59.

Pennington was a good QB. (good reads, good accuracy) but couldnt throw deep because of his poor arm strength so defenses stacked the box and didn't play safety high. and he never had much success in playoffs. An accurate QB with poor arm can be good in a West Coast Style but at the end of the day, big time QBs have big time arms as well.

No doubt, but that's really the question here. Since we can determine our own weights, what makes an 86 QB 86 and what makes a 59 QB 59. Is the 86 QB 86 because there are attributes that are over-weighted?

I completely agree. It's the same thing that my hometown KC Chiefs struggle with with Alex Smith. However, on the game sim, I'm not sure if we can make all of the same arguments.

Revised weights based on suggestions above. I increased acceleration and scrambling probably too high, but eh, this feels a bit better.
