Want an experienced owner for New Orleans in MFN-8

We need an experienced owner to take over this team since a newbie had it, and despite my help, managed to put it over $45 million over the cap when it was only about $1 million over at draft time. I'm still amazed it got that bad when all they did was keep 2 of their draft choices (they originally tried to even cut the 1st round choice before I convinced them to reclaim them). On top of that, they only have 46 players. I know this is a challenge, but the reason for an experienced owner is so that trades could happen and maybe just maybe we could not have a team that's dead in the water for several seasons that was a title contender just a couple of seasons ago. I hate seeing a league get destroyed because a newbie doesn't have any sense to learn the game before completely destroying a team and only half following advice and I admit it was my advice, but I didn't tell someone to renegotiate all contracts; just the ones that would save money.

Man, you're selling that opportunity hard.

That teams currently has 46 players _and_ 45m in dead cap. The only way that mess gets cleaned up is to cut at least 20 players from the roster since you can't trade because the team is over the cap. Then you have to sign a bunch of garbage players on a 1 year minimum deal. Then do the same thing next season.

It's better letting that team lay in AI **** for two years. But, hey, I'm a masochist.

Re-negotiating contracts is tricky when you're new to the game. It's all about the 6 years and maximum savings, knowing how to locate the bonus $$$ to beat and then having the self-control to figure out the line on how old is too old on each player when doing the re-negotiate game for the 6 years.

But once you learn it, it's bing-bing-bing.

I feel bad for the newbies as in there's so much to pick up and learn.

I hate to see yet another team destroyed and that because someone took my words and twisted it. It was ridiculous what this person did. It's the first time I've ever seen someone create a salary cap problem of over $1 million a player on the roster. If they would have just followed the save money part or if I'd not have said anything about renegotiating, this team would have been way better off. I understand why there are vultures in this league with ridiculous salary cap room since there have been so many newbies that have no clue how a salary cap works in real life or pay attention to any details.

...on a positive note, it's a locked and loaded MFN-8 league. Single digit league thriving with #s and in no threat of the scary expiration message.

I left that KC team absolutely stacked with the first overall pick. Didn't take long for newbies to decimate that roster.

Thanks punisher, but I already took this dumpster fire.
