Ray happened to 4.6. And 4.5. We need JDB to listen exclusively to non-Ray voices. I gave up on beta when Ray convinced JDB to narrow the difference between 0 and 100 speed.

Eliminating the slander and sticking with the stats. 4.5 knockdowns are almost as bad under a strict man under defense. As well i am not defending raising the speed of zero, except what good it has done to some stats. Yes, it doesn't directly touch on the large speed gaps, which we agree on, but there is a similar function going on.

I have a FS that has missed one tackle all season long. Hes good , hes a vet, and his tackle ablilty is finally starting to match the 100 on his card. That is great news to me...

Same goes for my backs with high break tackle.....when true speed more accurately relfects the nfls problem stats of the past seem to make more sense.

Along with this my guys who are fumbling ...should be fumbling.....so you can pick apart stuff all you want but i wish you would leave the drama out, but thats up to you . Everything i said is in record somewhere and its consistent with what i am saying now.

Fix the speed gaps and all anomalies are fixed....its so simple and under our nose the whole time so you can hate on me for linking it together in a simple sentence. I will take credit for that...if you want.

50 > 20 ... Beta is not good.

The problem with coverage vs receivers is that NONE of the secondary skills are still used. It's all still SP vs SP. Knockdowns should be M2M + Knockdown + Strength vs Courage + Strength + B&R/Route to determine who gets position. If the DB wins, he has a chance of knocking a pass down. If he doesn't, the WR boxes him out.

You cannot have a Calvin Johnson or Terrell Owens super strong, good hands WR in MFN. But every DB can be Bob Sanders.

50 yes is bad, but 36 with two games to go isnot very good either.

The 50 is coming from zone defenders reacting quicker when off the ball and a predominantly 4.5 passing code in 4.6...one which is Overpowered due to the true speed differences and the generic knckdown drop interception code.

My heavy zone defense has closer to nfl like knockdowns, but zone still has huge holes.

In theory knockdowns and tight coverage would go up if the value of zero speed was raised, but why not loosen it up even more. Pretty simple, that would allow for FOV like ratings and reciever rating to matter more.

and raisng the value of zero speed is not the answer....just a quick way to slightly close the speed gaps....what needs to be done is a lowering of the penalty to true speed cause by weight..to the point a LT can get a hand on a DB rushing the punt out of a DL slot. Thats the golden ticket
